Public Sector Solution Engineer - Sweden

Overview of the Role:

As a Solution Engineer in Salesforce's Public Sector sales organisation in Sweden, you will act as a client-facing pre-sales consultant — translating complex business challenges into clear, compelling solutions built on the Salesforce AI CRM and Agentforce platform. You will work closely with sales colleagues to understand customer goals, design tailored demonstrations and PoCs, and position Salesforce as the best solution for public sector organisations. This is a role for someone who is deeply curious about technology, passionate about AI, and skilled at making complex ideas accessible to diverse audiences.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the full functional and technical solution cycle in close collaboration with sales colleagues and the broader SE organisation, from discovery through to demonstration and RFP response
  • Design and deliver innovative, customised demos and solution concepts — including Agentforce and agentic AI capabilities — that address public sector customers' specific business challenges and demonstrate clear value
  • Develop and maintain deep knowledge of the Salesforce product portfolio, including PaaS, SaaS, and agentic AI, through ongoing training, certifications, and internal enablement programs
  • Attain quarterly and annual objectives as agreed with management, balancing multiple projects in a team-selling environment

Required Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in solution engineering, consultancy, or enterprise software delivery, with strong oral, written, and presentation skills and the ability to engage credibly with both technical and business stakeholders
  • Demonstrated familiarity with AI tools and the agentic AI landscape, with a track record of adopting new technology and applying it to customer challenges
  • Proven time management and collaboration skills, with the ability to balance multiple projects in a fast-paced, team-selling environment
  • Fluent in Swedish and English, with the right to work in Sweden

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working with or selling into Public Sector organisations, with an understanding of the sector's unique business and compliance requirements
  • Salesforce product knowledge and/or certifications; experience with other CRM or enterprise platforms is also welcome
  • Degree or equivalent relevant experience; backgrounds will be evaluated based on core competencies for the role (e.g. extracurricular leadership, military experience, volunteer work)
