Director - Entertainment Ad Sales
JOB SUMMARY
This role focuses on achieving revenue and growth targets for advertisers in the assigned category. As a Director you will be part a team of front liners, while building strong relationships with advertisers and agencies, and delivers customized solutions across JioStar extensive TV platforms. The role also expands JioStar client base and strengthens its position as the go-to partner for innovative advertising solutions.
This team consists of individuals with a mix of sales, strategy and execution across TV platforms.
Mumbai
This is a team handling role where you will own the revenue targets for key accounts within the Entertainment Business in a specific industry . The focus will be on maximizing revenue potential and positioning JioStar.
You will be Jiostar’s ambassador in the market for the accounts you own.
You will be expected to understand India’s TV ecosystem, stay abreast with industry trends and innovations along with establishing and demonstrating an understanding of JioStar’s ad solutions and capabilities
You will be expected to maintain a healthy sales pipeline on a regular basis; be proactive in highlighting any roadblocks and maintain high standards in sales processes
You will be expected to manage all stakeholder relationships end to end with minimum supervision
You will also be focusing on deeper client interactions to drive case studies, client interviews, executing joint business plans & maintaining monthly run rates etc.
You will work closely with the cross functional ads revenue team for the conceptualization & execution of all deals for your accounts
Understanding Key account management principles/consultative selling Should be both a category & a brand builder with a strong ability to drive and achieve sales targets. Excellent interpersonal &communication skills. Comfort to use data and analytics while building on client conversations at deal level. Ability to leverage relationships, build a strong network, and have effective negotiations, and utilizing these to drive new business. Persistence to drive sales from exploration to deal closures.
Preferably Bachelor’s degree with 10-12 years in a fast-paced industry; with solid understanding of TV landscape.
