The Impact You’ll Make in this Role
As a IT Vendor Management Specialist, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by:
Leading complex IT Vendor Management Office (IT VMO) operational activities, including vendor renewals, contract compliance, and IT asset governance
Implementing improvements to IT VMO processes, controls, and data quality practices to strengthen compliance, audit readiness, and operational efficiency
Determining root causes and resolving complex, non-routine issues across contract data, asset entitlements, and vendor records
Supporting financial oversight activities, including execution of IT contract renewals ≤ $200K annual TCV and recommendations to optimize IT spend and risk posture
Coaching and providing functional leadership to peers and contracted resources while influencing cross-functional stakeholders and service owners
Your Skills and Expertise
To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree or above in Information Technology, Business, Finance, or related discipline
7+ years of experience in IT vendor management, IT asset management, contract management, or related IT governance disciplines
Ability to manage and track escalations with cross‑functional teams & experience with IT systems supporting vendor and asset management
Must have experience with Flexera One or similar platforms
Experience analyzing IT contracts, vendor data, and asset entitlements & strong problem-solving skills handling complex business challenges
Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:
Experience supporting audit readiness and governance frameworks
Strong stakeholder influence and communication skills
Negotiation and consulting experience
Work Location: Hebbal, Bangalore (Karnataka), Hybrid Mode
