What You Will Do *

Responsible for the selection, establishment, development and maintenance of reliable and effective sources of supply for all indirect materials, equipment, supplies and services required by the business. Perform procurement in support of business goals on the basis of value; represented by a combination of price, quality, service and timely delivery to ensure the lowest ultimate cost to business users, conducted in an ethical and professional manner consistent with good business practice while avoiding conflicts of interest.

Strategic and tactical leadership in supply chain management, in the procurement of goods and services (from local and overseas sources) in a timely manner to support manufacturing operations and business objectives.
Review, update and implement Procurement policies and procedures from corporate flow-down, or operating environment changes that necessitates the conformance and compliance of Procurement business processes.
Insure the Procurement team and purchasing activities complies with RTX’s procurement procedures, ethics, global trade, and EH&S requirements, including the supplements and governing policies.
Insure the team performs risk assessment of work activities, properly use and maintain assigned control measures, and conform to standard written procedures for work tasks.
Perform the role of a change agent, apply and utilize continuous improvement tools in facilitating and supporting organizational innovations.
Responsible for key functional metrics in managing deliverables of on-time delivery, cost effectiveness and cost efficacy to drive long-term cost management culture.

What You Will Learn

Qualifications You Must Have *

Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Supply Chain or related discipline from an accredited university

Qualifications We Prefer

At least 8 years of relevant experience in Procurement / Supply Chain / Materials Management (preferred in a manufacturing environment) inclusive of at least 3 years of experience in a people-leader supervisory role

Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance employees, as they are essential to the development of our products.]

Hybrid: Employees who are working in Hybrid roles will work regularly both onsite and offsite. Ratio of time working onsite will be determined in partnership with your leader.

Remote: Employees who are working in Remote roles will work primarily offsite (from home). If you live within a reasonable commute of an RTX site with other colleagues you interact with, your manager will discuss whether there is a degree of onsite presence associated with this role.

Candidates will learn more about role type and current site status throughout the recruiting process. For onsite and hybrid roles, commuting to and from the assigned site is the employee’s personal responsibility.

Requires broad management and leadership knowledge to lead project teams.

Typically requires: A University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 10 years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 7 years experience

Engineering/Other Technical Positions: Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 10 years of prior relevant experience unless prohibited by local laws/regulations.
