JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY

The WPI Facilities Department is hiring temporary summer custodial staff to support cleaning and maintenance efforts across campus.

Schedule: Saturdays and Sundays, 7:00 AM – 12:00 PM
Start Date: Saturday, May 30, 2026 until Sunday, August 16, 2026
Pay Rate: $15.00 per hour

JOB DESCRIPTION

Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

• Sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, and vacuuming hallways, stairs, offices, bathrooms, and other campus areas

• Emptying trash and recycling containers

• Moving and relocating furniture, small equipment, and personal belongings

• Assisting with the setup and breakdown of indoor and outdoor events

Requirements:

• A valid work permit is required for applicants aged 14 to 17
