To meet output demand, we require an electrical assembly technician to manufacture small runs of high quality, hand-built test equipment for our track test products. This includes wiring of solder bucket MIL spec & LEMO connectors, crimping of ring terminals and various Molex types and looming using lacing cord.
Our teams work to engineering schematics so confidence in reading/interpreting these diagrams is key. Building of sub-assemblies on bench to building a complete final system.
- Routing/Looming wires and cable in a chassis using lacing cord
- Soldering THT and SMT components
- Basic fault finding/testing using a DVM
- Cable assemblies
- Box-building
- High focus on quality and “right first time” production
- Exceptional paperwork and ability to learn new skills
Essential:
- At least 3 years of practical wiring/electronics experience
- Familiarity with working from R&D schematics
- Microsoft proficient
Desirable:
- Familiarity with ISO9001 standards
- IPC qualified.

- Ability to work to deadlines and as part of a team.
- Critical thinker with a good understanding of engineering
