About The Team
You’ll be joining the JINGDONG Logistics team, which values collaboration, ownership, and a commitment to delivering high-quality results in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Job Responsibilities
* Lead, motivate, and manage a team of outbound warehouse operatives, including task assignment, performance monitoring, and training.
* Oversee all outbound logistics processes, including picking, packing, labeling, loading, and dispatch of dangerous goods.
* Ensure strict adherence to all relevant dangerous goods regulations (e.g., ADR, IATA, IMDG) and company safety protocols.
* Implement and enforce procedures for the safe handling, storage, and transportation of hazardous materials.
* Monitor inventory accuracy and conduct regular checks to prevent discrepancies in outbound shipments.
* Optimize outbound workflows and processes to improve efficiency, reduce errors, and meet delivery deadlines.
* Collaborate with other departments (e.g., inbound, inventory, customer service) to ensure seamless operations.
* Prepare and maintain documentation related to dangerous goods shipments, including declarations and manifests.
* Conduct regular team meetings, provide feedback, and facilitate skill development for team members.
* Identify and resolve operational issues, escalating complex problems to management as needed.
* Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment.
* Report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to outbound operations.
Job Qualifications
* Proven experience (3+ years) in a supervisory or team leader role within a logistics or warehouse environment, preferably dealing with dangerous goods.
* Certified knowledge of dangerous goods regulations (e.g., ADR, IATA, IMDG) is highly advantageous.
* Strong understanding of warehouse management systems (WMS) and outbound logistics processes.
* Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to motivate and develop a team in a fast-paced environment.
* Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
* High level of attention to detail and accuracy, particularly when handling hazardous materials.
* Proficiency in German and English, both written and spoken.
* Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
* Forklift license and experience operating material handling equipment is a plus.
* Strong commitment to safety and compliance.
