The Tier 1 Area Vice President is responsible for leading a team of Account Executives responsible for selling the Company’s solutions and services to existing clients and developing or expanding business within high value accounts that will have a major impact on the Company’s long-term success.
Essential Key Responsibilities
alignment with the Business Unit’s goals and strategies
planning process for each account; evaluate the aggressiveness of the account plans and pressure-test
their feasibility
teams to meet customer needs with tailored solutions
identified benchmark guidelines; ensure that the performance of all key metrics in Salesforce.com is
properly measured
sales process; develop career plans for each Account Executive and identify areas of exposure and
growth to help them achieve their career plan aspirations
meaningful customer relationships offering greater value
