The Role
The AI Enablement Manager is responsible for operationalizing and executing initiatives aligned with the enterprise AI roadmap defined by IT leadership within a Medical Device Manufacturer (OEM). This role serves as the coordination and orchestration engine for AI initiatives ensuring structured delivery, responsible governance, and measurable adoption across the organization.
Working in close partnership with cross-functional stakeholders, this individual translates prioritized AI use cases into executable plans, ensures alignment with governance standards, and drives enterprise adoption.
This role focuses on initiative coordination, governance operationalization, and workforce enablement.
To be considered for this job, you must be able to work a hybrid schedule with a minimum of 3 days per week onsite at our Brooklyn Park, MN (Minneapolis) corporate headquarters.
KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
AI Initiative Orchestration & Delivery
Translate enterprise AI roadmap priorities into structured implementation plans.
Define and prioritize AI use cases in partnership with business leaders.
Coordinate cross-functional stakeholders to execute approved AI initiatives.
Track initiative progress, dependencies, risks, and outcomes.
Governance Operationalization
Support the development and operationalization of enterprise AI policies and guardrails in partnership with IT leadership, Legal, and Compliance.
Manage the AI intake and evaluation process for new tools and use cases.
Ensure initiatives align with architecture, data governance, and security standards.
Maintain documentation of AI use cases, approvals, and risk considerations.
Enterprise Application Enablement
Identify opportunities to enhance corporate applications with AI-enabled capabilities.
Validate business value and readiness before technical implementation.
Ensure AI-enabled enhancements align with lifecycle management and support models.
Coordinate with technical resources to transition pilots into scalable solutions.
Workforce Adoption & Change Enablement
Develop AI enablement materials, best practices, and internal playbooks.
Support structured AI literacy and adoption initiatives across departments.
Establish feedback loops to assess impact and improve adoption.
Track productivity and usage metrics to demonstrate measurable value.
Reporting & Communication
Provide structured updates to IT leadership on AI initiative progress and impact.
Develop dashboards and metrics that demonstrate ROI and adoption trends.
Support preparation of executive-level materials related to AI initiatives.
REQUIRED EDUCATIONAL TRAINING AND JOB RELATED EXPERIENCE
Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Business, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
Experience operating in regulated or compliance-sensitive environments like Medical Device, MedTech, Pharmaceutical or similar
5 or more years of experience in enterprise IT, business systems, digital enablement, or technology program coordination
Exposure to governance frameworks or risk management processes
Strong organizational and coordination capability

Experience supporting cross-functional technology initiatives
Familiarity with enterprise applications (ERP, CRM, HRIS, M365, collaboration platforms)
Working knowledge of AI-enabled tools and their business applications

PREFERRED EDUCATIONAL TRAINING AND JOB RELATED EXPERIENCE
Experience working in a medical device manufacturer (OEM) for deployment of related systems
Exposure to governance frameworks or risk management processes
Experience supporting digital transformation or technology adoption initiatives
Familiarity with structured project delivery methodologies
WORKING CONDITIONS AND REQUIRED PHYSICAL EFFORT
Typical hybrid onsite and remote office conditions
This position may require minimal travel
This position will require interfacing with multiple internal departments and physician customers
Must be able to safely lift up to 15 lbs if needed
