Job Description:
Under limited review, and as a seasoned, experienced professional with full understanding of accounting principles, you will evaluate more complex transactions and records to the GL as necessary to ensure the financials are accurate and complete. Supports internal customers, develops relationships with various client groups and maintains/updates current financial information. Responsible for the completion of complex balance sheet reconciliations and income statement analysis. Identifies process problems and proposes improvements or course of action. Research accounting literature.
What You'll Be Doing:
Calculates, reviews and processes journal entries
Complete complex reconciliations and income statement analysis
Support and or participate on special projects. Leads projects of low complexity, developing project leadership skills.
Responsible for producing, reviewing, analyzing and issuing periodic reporting on general subject matter
Demonstrates an understanding of various accounting processes and identify root causes and areas for improvements.
As allowed by applicable law, this role may need to perform late night, weekend, or holiday coverage due to month, quarter and year end requirements.
What We Are Looking For:
5 years of related experience and Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance
Masters Degree and/or CPA (or sitting for the CPA) is a plus
Experience with detail-oriented reconciliations required
Experience with cash reconciliations required
Previous focus on process improvement and implementation
Experience using accounting software (Oracle, SAP, NetSuite)
Detail oriented individual
Work Arrangement:
Hybrid: Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday required office days for Panorama Office site; Monday, Friday-work from home.
