Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented Staff Accountant Intern to support our Corporate Accounting team for the summer. This role offers hands-on experience with financial processes, reporting, and intercompany activities in a fast-paced environment. This internship is located at our Chicago office with a hybrid model schedule (Onsite Tuesday-Thursday) – Duration June-August.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with month-end close, journal entries, and account reconciliations
• Record daily cash activity and other corporate transactions
• Support intercompany accounting, including reconciliations and weekly statements
• Assist with variance analysis, budgeting, and forecasting
• Partner with Accounts Payable and field teams as a corporate liaison
• Maintain schedules, documentation, and audit support materials
• Contribute to process improvements and special projects

Qualifications

• Pursuing a degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Previous internship or coursework in accounting or finance
• Strong Excel and analytical skills
• High attention to detail and accuracy with strong organizational abilities
• Excellent communication skills

Total Rewards

The starting compensation for this position is $25.00 per hour. This position may be eligible for performance based bonus plan.
