ABOUT YOUR ROLE:
To perform diversified accounting duties related to the timely and accurate postings of monthly journal entries, preparation of monthly finance reports, and assist in the annual tax and financial statement audits. Analyze, invoice, process, and settle all intercompany transactions. Reconcile all bank statements and control the level of cash needed in each account.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE:
Include but not limited to
Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close activities under management supervision.
Leverage automation and AI tools to streamline reconciliations, support exception analysis, and strengthen accounting controls.
Continuously improve the general ledger accounting processes, monthly account reconciliations, outgoing and incoming invoices, and adherence to US GAAP regulations, under the appropriate supervision of the Manager. Maintain and explain accurate accounting records.
Develop monthly accruals of expenses, assigning correct account numbers and cost centers, and requesting disbursements.
Prepare monthly intercompany invoices, settlement reconciliations and wire transfers requests.
Provide back-up support and give recommendations for regional payroll activities in accordance with the law.
Transact Treasury functions such as processing invoices and uploading payments.
Perform compliance and testing of internal controls to ensure adherence to applicable requirements.
Assist Manager in providing support for annual tax and statutory financial audit by compiling requested information, researching and answering questions and preparing relevant schedules.
Provide ad hoc financial analysis as needed- for forecasting, budgeting, and business cases.
Be a champion of Lean and Continuous Improvement by providing suggestions for cost savings and process efficiencies.
WHAT WE WILL BE LOOKING FOR IN YOU:
Competency requirements:
Degree in accounting (CPA).
Prior work history with a US publicly traded company preferred.
Skill Requirements:
Strong understanding of US GAAP.
Microsoft software platforms- Excel, Word, Powerpoint, Copilot.
Tax and customs working knowledge.
Experience in SAP is a plus.
