This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for an Accounting Manager based in United States.

This role is a high-impact accounting leadership position within a fast-growing, global organization operating across multiple regions. You will take ownership of end-to-end accounting operations, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and scalability across multi-entity financial structures. The position combines hands-on technical accounting with strategic process improvement, making it ideal for someone who thrives in dynamic, complex environments. You will play a key role in strengthening global financial reporting, optimizing close processes, and enhancing internal controls across North America, EMEA, and APAC. In addition to technical responsibilities, you will lead and mentor a distributed accounting team, fostering a strong culture of ownership and continuous improvement. This is a role designed for a builder—someone who sees accounting as a system to be optimized, not just maintained.

Accountabilities:

  • Oversee full-cycle accounting operations including AP, AR, GL, month-end close, and financial reporting across multiple global entities.
  • Manage multi-entity and multi-currency consolidations in compliance with GAAP and/or IFRS standards.
  • Identify inefficiencies and design scalable accounting processes to support rapid business growth.
  • Lead automation and AI-driven improvements to enhance accuracy, speed, and efficiency in financial workflows.
  • Supervise and mentor a remote global accounting team, promoting accountability and professional development.
  • Act as primary liaison for external audits, ensuring timely preparation, documentation, and resolution of audit requirements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to support financial transparency and operational decision-making.
  • Requirements:

    • 5–8+ years of progressive accounting experience, ideally including CPA or equivalent certification.
    • Proven experience managing multi-entity, multi-region accounting operations across North America, EMEA, and/or APAC.
    • Strong background in full-cycle accounting, financial reporting, and consolidation processes.
    • Experience leading or managing accounting teams in a remote or distributed environment (3+ years preferred).
    • Demonstrated ability to build and scale accounting processes in high-growth or lean organizations.
    • Advanced proficiency in Excel and strong ERP system experience; exposure to Workday Financials is a strong plus.
    • Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills across global teams.
    • Analytical mindset with a strong focus on process improvement, automation, and innovation.
    • Benefits:

      • Competitive compensation package ranging from $120,000 – $165,000 CAD.
      • Performance-based incentives aligned with business and individual impact.
      • Flexible work arrangements, including remote-first options.
      • Comprehensive health, dental, and wellness benefits.
      • Paid time off and supportive leave policies.
      • Opportunity to build and scale global accounting operations in a high-growth environment.
      • Exposure to modern finance tools, automation, and AI-driven accounting processes.
      • Strong career development and leadership growth opportunities.
