This is a high-impact accounting role responsible for ensuring the integrity of financial reporting within a complex, fast-paced manufacturing environment.
You will oversee end-to-end general ledger activities, including close processes, reconciliations, journal entries, and financial statement preparation.
The role plays a key part in supporting operational accounting needs such as inventory valuation, cost accounting, and production-related financial analysis.
You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate reporting and compliance with GAAP and internal controls.

Accountabilities:
In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining the accuracy and integrity of the general ledger while supporting financial reporting, operational accounting, and compliance across monthly, quarterly, and annual cycles.
- Lead month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.
- Prepare and review journal entries, accruals, and account reconciliations in accordance with GAAP standards.
- Maintain completeness and accuracy of financial statements and support internal reporting requirements.
- Support inventory and cost accounting activities, including raw materials, COGS, finished goods, and production variances.
- Perform variance analysis comparing actuals vs. budget and prior periods to identify financial trends and insights.
- Maintain internal controls documentation and support internal and external audit processes.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy within accounting workflows.
- Prepare and review monthly reporting packages and ensure consistency across financial records.
Requirements:
This role requires strong technical accounting expertise, attention to detail, and experience in manufacturing or cost accounting environments. You should be comfortable working in a structured close cycle and managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA preferred.
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, including strong general ledger and financial reporting responsibilities.
- Solid understanding of GAAP and cost accounting principles.
- Experience with ERP systems (NetSuite preferred or similar platforms).
- Strong Excel skills, including pivot tables, lookups, and data analysis functions.
- Experience with inventory accounting, standard costing, and production variance analysis is highly preferred.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced, operational environment.
