As an Accountant II, you’ll play a key role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial information that supports our organization’s success. You’ll collaborate closely with the Corporate Accounting team to maintain reliable reporting, strong controls, and timely insights. This is a great opportunity to grow your accounting expertise while contributing to meaningful financial operations.

In this role you'll

  • In this role you’ll ensure the general ledger and financial reporting are accurate, complete, timely, and compliant with GAAP.
  • Support the design, implementation, and monitoring of internal controls related to general ledger accounts and reconciliations.
  • Prepare and post monthly journal entries and perform reconciliations for assigned accounts.
  • Analyze financial trends and investigate variances across the general ledger and financial statements.
  • Help maintain company-wide compliance with reconciliation standards and internal control requirements.
  • Complete investment portfolio accounting entries and related reconciliations.
  • Assist in preparing financial statements and supporting reports, including analyzing and explaining budget variances.
  • Support regulatory reporting by preparing data for filings such as FDIC Call Reports and SEC reports.
  • Follow company policies, procedures, and all applicable regulatory requirements.
  • What we're looking for

  • You have an Associate’s degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, or a related field (Required). 
  • An equivalent combination of education and experience can be considered in lieu of a degree.
  • You have 2 or more years of accounting or related experience (Required).
  • What helps you shine

  • You bring a strong understanding of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) and how they apply in practice.
  • You are highly proficient in Microsoft Excel and comfortable building and using spreadsheets to analyze data.
  • You communicate clearly and effectively, both in writing and verbally, and collaborate well with others.
  • You have knowledge of federal and state regulations related to accounting within financial institutions.
  • You are detail-oriented and able to manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy and timeliness.

  • Targeted starting salary range (based on experience): $33.98- 39.98
