Boeing is looking for an experienced Senior Business Intelligence Analyst to join our dynamic Corporate Investigations team. The ideal candidate will have experience working with quantitative and qualitative information to produce insightful analysis; excellent written and verbal communication skills; expertise in ServiceNow performance analytics and dashboards; expertise in data visualization tools; familiarity with the aerospace industry and compliance matters, including employee misconduct investigations; and strong collaboration skills, with a proven ability to work across teams and functions.

The person in this role will produce sophisticated and timely analyses of the company’s data related to workplace and fraud investigations of alleged employee misconduct. This analyst will collect, connect, and analyze information related to investigations to identify team performance opportunities and/or compliance risks, and communicate findings in a concise, actionable manner for Corporate Investigations leadership. This analyst will also design and maintain investigation-related dashboards in the ServiceNow case management system.

This position is part of the Law and Global Compliance organization, reporting to the Corporate Investigations Senior Manager of Operations, and works with a shared purpose and alignment to Corporate Investigations strategy.

This position can be located in Everett, WA; Auburn, WA; Arlington, VA; Berkeley, MO; Chicago, IL: Huntsville, AL; Mesa, AZ; North Charleston, SC; Renton, WA; Ridley Park, PA; San Antonio, TX; or Seal Beach, CA.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Generating actionable, in-depth analysis of large sets of investigative data for Corporate Investigations leadership

  • Monitoring developments, assessing organizational performance opportunities and/or compliance risks, and reporting findings in a clear, proactive manner

  • Delivering analytic insights via written reports and briefings to Corporate Investigations leadership in a clear, concise, and business-relevant way

  • Designing, implementing, and updating ServiceNow performance analytics and case management dashboards

  • Designing, implementing, and updating Excel reports using VBA, complex formulas, and power pivots

  • Coordinating with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders, including Global Compliance Data & Analytics, Law Department, Employee Corrective Action, and Information Technology

  • Supporting Corporate Investigations operations with ad hoc case research, information requests, and legal holds; supporting day-to-day operations-related activities

  • Other duties as assigned

This position is hybrid. This means that the selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite at one of the listed location options. The hybrid nature of the position is at the hiring team’s discretion and could potentially change in the future. The selected candidate must be able to respond to their assigned work location in a timely manner in order to address exigent business needs. Some travel to other work locations may also be required.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):             

  • 3+ years of experience collecting data from multiple sources, performing analysis and presenting data

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel (including complex nested formulas, pivot tables, power pivot data modeling, and creating dashboards)

  • Experience with data analysis and/or data mining

  • Experience with Visual Basic for Applications (VBA)

  • Experience working with ServiceNow platform

  • Experience preparing and presenting executive level briefings

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Familiarity with the aerospace industry, compliance-related matters, and/or employee misconduct investigations

  • Experience working with ambiguous requirements and asking the right questions to translate them into useful, actionable findings

  • Experience drafting trends, analyses, and insights in a "storytelling" narrative format for executive leadership and stakeholder briefings

  • Applying critical thinking to troubleshoot issues with VBA-coded or macro-based Excel workbooks, including identifying the root cause to prevent future occurrences

  • Working knowledge of Structured Query Language (SQL) and Python

  • Working knowledge of the Tableau data visualization tool

Summary Pay Range: $119,850-$173,650
