Xumo, a joint venture between Comcast and Charter Communications, was formed to develop and offer a next-generation streaming platform for the entire entertainment industry. The company consists of three primary lines of business: Xumo devices, Xumo Play, and Xumo Enterprise. Powered by Comcast’s global entertainment platform, Xumo devices feature a world-class user interface with universal voice search capabilities, making it easy for consumers to find and enjoy their favorite streaming content. Xumo Play is a free ad-supported streaming TV (FAST) service offering hundreds of linear channels and on-demand options. Job Summary

This role partners with business leaders and stakeholders to understand data and analytics needs, translating them into actionable technical requirements. It involves analyzing large, complex datasets from multiple sources to uncover meaningful business insights, identify key drivers, and support data-driven decision-making. The position leverages advanced querying and develops forecasting models to predict business trends. Additionally, the role evaluates the effectiveness of campaigns and initiatives, delivering insights for continuous improvement, and designs, builds, and maintains both internal and external dashboards and reporting solutions to meet stakeholder needs.

Job Description

• Create and maintain internal dashboards & reports based on stakeholder requirements
• Create, develop and maintain external customer reports & dashboards
• Position is office based in Irvine, CA or Philadelphia, PA- 4 days/week & 1 day remote

Core Responsibilities:

• Works with business leaders and stakeholders to understand data and analysis needs and develop technical requirements.
• Determines relevancy of data and identifies alternative data sources as needed to ensure analytics requested by business stakeholders can be completed.
• Analyzes large, complex data to determine actionable business insights using self-service analytics and reporting tools.
• Queries disparate big data platforms such as Teradata, SQL Server, Hadoop, and AWS.
• Combines data as needed from disparate data sources to complete analysis.
• Identifies key business drivers and insights by conducting exploratory data analysis and hypothesis testing.
• Develops forecasting models to predict sales, demand and other key business metrics.
• Analyzes the results of campaigns, offers or initiatives to measure their effectiveness and identifies opportunities for improvement.
• Communicates findings clearly and concisely through narrative-driven presentations and effective data visualizations to Company executives and decisionmakers.
• Promotes and evangelizes a culture of excellence, data driven discussions, healthy skepticism, intellectual curiosity, knowledge sharing, and teamwork.
• Stays current with emerging trends in analytics, statistics, and machine learning and applies them to business challenges.
• Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.
• Regular, consistent and punctual attendance. Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) as necessary.

Compensation

Primary Location Pay Range: This job can be performed in California with a good faith estimated pay range upon hire of $89,718.80 - $119,625.06 USD.

Comcast intends to offer the selected candidate base pay within the posted range for this role at the time of posting dependent on job-related, non-discriminatory factors such as experience. The application window is 30 days from the date job is posted, unless the number of applicants requires it to close sooner or later.
