The International Consumer Insights & Research Analyst is a source of truth for understanding consumer preferences, consumer behavior, and category trends. Day-to-day responsibilities include vendor relationship management, survey development, survey analysis, and report development. This individual will lead the International Brand Health Tracking program, ensuring the surveys and outputs consistently meet the needs of internal stakeholders and international franchisees, and will also support the rollout of the Voice of the Customer (VoC) program to elevate the customer experience across markets. Success in this role requires developing and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders (International marketing team, regional field teams, commercial services, development) and partners (vendors). This role demands an individual who is highly organized and detail-oriented at the core, but also skilled at translating data into actionable insights. As a member of the International Marketing team, this individual will have the opportunity and responsibility to share and develop the International team’s consumer knowledge.
*This position will sit onsite in our Columbia Support Center 4 days per week.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Lead the Brand Health Tracking program – including survey design, survey quality assurance, data analysis, and report creation.
Support Voice of the Customer program including franchisee onboarding, survey review, report management, and ad hoc data analysis.
Assist with bespoke research needs including translating business needs into research objectives, recommend research methodologies, writing surveys, analyzing data, and developing reports.
Help lead implementation of sharing of consumer trend and market reports with information from secondary data platforms.
Support business planning and adhoc needs for regional and field marketing teams by collecting market and consumer data and information.
EDUCATION QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum: 4 yr degree in Business, Marketing, Psychology, etc.
Preferred: Masters in Marketing or MBA
EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATION
Minimum: 3+ years consumer insights/market research experience required
Restaurant industry relevant experience preferred
International experience preferred
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS or ABILITIES
Knowledge of and experience with quantiative research methodologies
Strong survey writing and analysis skills
Strong analytical, organizational and written and verbal communications skills
Experience with Brand Health Tracking or Voice of the Customer programs preferred
Ability to lead multiple projects simultaneously and deliver on time
Ability to communicate at all levels to build relationships and enhance partnerships, both internal and external
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, multi-task, prioritize and be detail oriented
Self-starter personality who can operate with some supervision
DECISION-MAKING AUTHORITY
Authority to lead projects and planning with oversight from the Director, International Consumer Insights & Research
