The Analytics & Insights (A&I) Intern role at Procter & Gamble supports the team in transforming data into actionable business insights. This role contributes to business understanding, opportunity identification, reporting, and data storytelling, helping the organization make better and faster decisions through structured analysis and clear communication.
As an A&I Intern, you will work with business stakeholders to analyze information, identify patterns and opportunities, build reports or dashboards, and translate data into clear insights that support decision-making. The role requires strong analytical thinking, curiosity, critical thinking, and comfort working with tools such as Excel, Power BI, SQL, and Power Query.
Key Responsibilities:
Support Analytics & Insights projects by gathering, organizing, and analyzing data to answer relevant business questions.
Partner with the team to identify trends, opportunities, and insights that can inform business strategies and action plans.
Analyze data sets using Excel and other available tools to identify patterns, performance drivers, risks, and opportunities.
Support the creation and maintenance of dashboards, reports, and data visualizations using tools such as Power BI and Power Query.
Translate data into clear, actionable recommendations and compelling stories for stakeholders, applying critical thinking and structured problem-solving.
Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to understand business needs, clarify requirements, and communicate insights in a simple and effective way.
Work under direct supervision, following well-defined precedents and policies.
Assist in ad hoc analyses, reporting improvements, and continuous improvement initiatives that enhance data quality, efficiency, and decision-making.
Job Qualifications
Qualifications:
Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Economics, Statistics, Data Analytics, Computer Science, or a related field.
Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Excel, including data organization, analysis, and reporting.
Basic to intermediate knowledge of Power BI, SQL, and Power Query.
Strong analytical capacity, critical thinking, and ability to translate data into business insights.
Basic knowledge of Python is desirable.
Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain data and insights to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Demonstrated ability to handle multiple priorities.
Curiosity, eagerness to learn, and interest in analytics, business insights, and data-driven problem-solving.
