Regional Loan Officer, Business Development

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Regional Loan Officer, Business Development based in the United States.

This role is an entry point into the high-growth world of real estate investment lending, designed for ambitious sales professionals ready to develop into full-cycle loan originators.
You will support experienced originators while learning how to structure and close deals across fix-and-flip, new construction, and rental property financing.
The position blends hands-on training, client engagement, and pipeline development in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment.
You will gradually build your own book of business while mastering the end-to-end lending process.
Strong mentorship, structured onboarding, and modern sales tools support your growth from day one.
This is a remote opportunity offering exposure to a national real estate investor market and long-term career progression.

Accountabilities:

  • Support senior originators by assisting with pipeline management, client meetings, deal preparation, and learning core loan structuring and underwriting processes.
  • Develop and grow your own pipeline through prospecting, outreach, networking, and referral generation within the real estate investment community.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships by acting as a responsive, high-touch point of contact throughout the loan lifecycle.
  • Gain exposure to the full lending process, including deal analysis, underwriting coordination, approvals, and closings to prepare for independent origination responsibilities.
  • Engage with industry professionals, investors, and brokers to expand market presence and generate new business opportunities.
  • Educate prospective borrowers on lending solutions and value propositions to support informed decision-making and successful deal execution.
  • Requirements:

    • 2+ years of experience in sales, business development, or lead generation with a demonstrated track record of prospecting and closing deals.
    • Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to quickly build trust and credibility with clients and partners.
    • Highly organized, self-motivated, and capable of working independently in a remote, performance-driven environment.
    • Coachable mindset with a strong desire for continuous learning, development, and long-term career growth in lending or financial services.
    • Interest in real estate investment, private lending, or financial markets is strongly preferred.
    • Familiarity with CRM tools such as Salesforce or similar platforms is a plus.
    • Willingness to obtain an NMLS license within 90 days of employment, if required.
    • Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required depending on relevant experience.
