Senior Business Development Manager - Tech Strategic

This is a high-performance, revenue-driving role focused on building and expanding strategic client relationships within the technology and professional services ecosystem. You will operate as a trusted commercial partner in the market, responsible for identifying new business opportunities, developing outbound-driven pipelines, and closing high-value deals. The role blends new client acquisition with account expansion, requiring strong consultative selling skills and the ability to navigate complex stakeholder environments. You will act as both a market-facing advisor and a commercial operator, bringing insights, workforce intelligence, and value-led solutions to client conversations. Working in close collaboration with delivery teams, you will ensure client needs are translated into effective talent solutions with speed and precision. Accountabilities:

  • Own and develop a defined market territory by building and executing a targeted outbound business development strategy to generate new client relationships.
  • Drive net new revenue through cold outreach, strategic prospecting, consultative selling, and end-to-end ownership of the sales cycle.
  • Expand existing client accounts by identifying cross-sell and upsell opportunities across a large installed client base.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to clients by providing market insights, talent intelligence, and consultative recommendations.
  • Build and manage a disciplined, data-driven pipeline using CRM tools to track activity, forecast revenue, and optimize sales performance.
  • Collaborate closely with internal recruiting and delivery teams to ensure successful fulfillment of client needs.
  • Represent the organization in client meetings, industry events, and executive-level conversations as a senior commercial voice in the market.
  • Continuously refine outreach strategies based on market feedback, performance metrics, and competitive intelligence.
  • Requirements:

    • 6–12 years of experience in business development, sales, or account management, ideally within staffing, professional services, or technology-related industries.
    • Proven track record of exceeding revenue targets and consistently delivering strong quota performance.
    • Demonstrated ability to build pipeline independently through outbound prospecting and relationship-driven sales.
    • Strong consultative selling skills with the ability to diagnose client needs and position tailored solutions.
    • Experience engaging and influencing senior stakeholders, including hiring managers and executive-level decision-makers.
    • Strong understanding of technology talent markets or professional services environments is highly preferred.
    • Excellent communication skills with a confident, direct, and credible executive presence.
    • Strong organizational discipline with experience managing CRM systems and structured sales pipelines.
    • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or related field preferred.
    • High level of coachability, resilience, and drive to operate in a performance-oriented environment.
