In this role, you will be a senior individual contributor responsible for shaping and expanding high-impact national broker and consultant partnerships that drive large-scale distribution growth. You will own the national accounts broker strategy, focusing on recruiting, activating, and deepening relationships with top-tier brokerage firms and benefits consultants. Acting as a trusted executive-level partner, you will translate strategic relationships into measurable revenue across employer health benefit solutions. This is a highly visible, field-facing role that blends partnership development, sales strategy, and market expansion. You will operate across complex distribution ecosystems, influencing broker engagement, product adoption, and long-term channel performance. The role requires deep industry credibility, strong executive presence, and frequent travel to maintain and grow key national relationships.

Accountabilities:

Own and expand national broker and consultant partnerships, serving as the primary relationship lead for top-tier national and large regional distribution partners.

  • Develop and execute national account strategies to increase awareness, activation, and revenue across benefit product lines, including Level-Funded and ICHRA solutions.
  • Build and maintain executive-level relationships with key decision-makers across national brokerage firms and general agencies.
  • Identify, recruit, and onboard new national broker partners to expand distribution reach and market penetration.
  • Lead joint business planning sessions with strategic partners, aligning on growth targets, activation plans, and performance tracking.
  • Drive revenue growth through broker-sourced pipeline development, ensuring strong conversion and expansion across accounts.
  • Monitor partner performance metrics, pipeline contribution, and revenue attribution to optimize channel effectiveness.
  • Design and refine broker incentive programs and advisory structures to accelerate engagement and business growth.
  • Represent the organization at national industry events, broker summits, and conferences to strengthen market presence.
  • Deliver broker education programs, webinars, and executive briefings to support product adoption and market understanding.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, Product, and Operations to ensure partner success across the lifecycle.
  • Provide market intelligence and feedback from national broker networks to inform strategic planning and product direction.
  • Requirements:

    This role requires deep expertise in national broker ecosystems, employee benefits distribution, and strategic channel sales leadership. Candidates should bring a strong executive presence and a proven ability to convert relationships into sustained revenue growth.

    • 8+ years of experience in health insurance, employee benefits, or related industries.
    • 5+ years of experience in national broker-facing, channel partnerships, or strategic sales roles.
    • Proven track record of driving revenue growth through national or large regional broker relationships.
    • Established network within national brokerage firms and benefits consulting organizations.
    • Deep understanding of benefits distribution, broker economics, and small-to-mid market employer solutions.
    • Strong knowledge of Level-Funded and/or ICHRA products; familiarity with alternative funding models is a plus.
    • Exceptional consultative selling, relationship-building, and executive communication skills.
    • Ability to operate independently in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
    • Strong analytical mindset with experience using CRM tools and pipeline reporting.
    • Willingness and ability to travel up to 50% for partner engagement and industry events.
