Senior Manager, Corporate Development

This role sits at the center of a high-impact corporate development function focused on driving transformative growth through strategic acquisitions, investments, and partnerships. You will play a key role in shaping long-term business strategy by identifying and evaluating new opportunities that support expansion across multiple business lines. Working closely with senior executives, you will help assess both organic and inorganic growth levers, translating complex financial and strategic insights into actionable recommendations. The environment is fast-paced, entrepreneurial, and highly collaborative, requiring strong cross-functional engagement with finance, legal, and business teams. You will be deeply involved across the full M&A lifecycle, from sourcing and diligence to negotiation and integration. This is a highly visible role where your work directly influences major strategic decisions and long-term value creation.
Accountabilities:
- Identify, research, and evaluate potential acquisition targets and strategic investment opportunities aligned with long-term business objectives.
- Lead financial and strategic analysis of M&A opportunities, including valuation, modeling, and scenario planning.
- Support end-to-end transaction execution, including sourcing, due diligence, structuring, negotiation, closing, and post-merger integration.
- Build and maintain detailed, long-range financial models to support corporate strategy, partnerships, and key business initiatives.
- Collaborate with business leaders, finance, legal, and strategy teams to ensure integrated decision-making across transactions.
- Develop insights from complex datasets and apply strategic frameworks to support high-impact business decisions.
- Partner with internal strategy and partnerships teams to evaluate and execute new growth initiatives.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience in finance, business, economics, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience, including at least 2 years in investment banking or private equity, plus corporate development or strategic finance experience in a technology-driven environment.
- Strong expertise in three-statement financial modeling, valuation methodologies, and corporate finance principles.
- Proven experience executing M&A transactions across the full deal lifecycle.
- Strong strategic thinking ability with a track record of developing original insights and influencing executive decision-making.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate complex analysis into clear, persuasive narratives.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Ownership mindset, with strong judgment, initiative, and comfort working in cross-functional and remote settings.
- Familiarity with SaaS or software business models is a plus, along with an interest in technology and/or real estate.
- Comfort using modern AI tools to enhance financial analysis and M&A workflows is highly valued.
- Competitive base salary ranging from $145,900 to $245,400 depending on location, experience, and performance.
