This is a unique opportunity for a results driven leader to build a sales function from the ground up while personally landing high-value enterprise accounts.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive Business Growth: Take the lead in identifying and securing high-value opportunities within the ASX 200 and similar organisations. Your mission: to revolutionise our sales strategy and make significant contributions to our revenue growth.

  • Cultivate Executive Relationships: Build and foster influential relationships with C-suite leaders, becoming a trusted advisor who navigates the complexities of enterprise environments to unlock new avenues for collaboration and success.

  • Navigate Complex Sales Cycles: Own the sales process from start to finish, expertly managing intricate deal cycles and providing accurate forecasts. Use your negotiation prowess to overcome challenges and accelerate the path to closing.

  • Lead AI and Ecosystem Initiatives: Activate and strengthen partnerships with AWS and Databricks, establishing a powerful lead generation engine. Champion our AI-first approach, helping clients transition to cutting-edge business models that leverage modern data architectures.

  • Innovate Commercial Strategies: Transform the sales landscape by shifting focus from traditional models to innovative, outcome-based solutions. Design deals that emphasise value creation and implement subscription-based pricing to drive sustainable revenue streams.

  • Build and Inspire a High-Performance Team: Recruit and mentor a talented team of Business Development Managers and Account Directors. Define impactful sales playbooks that resonate with the Australian market while aligning with our global vision.

  • The Ideal Profile

  • Proven track record as a "Hunter" with the ability to drive top-line growth and secure new enterprise logos.
  • Hands on sales experience building new business from scratch (0-to-1 business development).
  • Experience in a senior sales role within the digital consulting industry.
  • Strong understanding of Modern Data Stacks and the role of Databricks and AWS.
  • Well-connected with decision-makers in the Financial Services Industry (FSI) and Retail across Australia.
  • Experience in implementing outcome-based contracts and leading high-performing sales teams.
  • Results-driven with a relentless appetite for hitting targets.
  • Strategic operator with an entrepreneurial mindset, capable of being both a high-level strategist and a hands-on closer.
  • Multilingual capabilities in Cantonese and/or Mandarin and English (written and verbal) highly desirable however not a mandatory requirement for the role.
