Your Impact:

As a Data Engineer on our team, you will own the critical data ingestion lifecycle, acting as the linchpin between business needs and technical execution. Your contributions will directly shape our data capabilities through:

End-to-End Data Pipeline Ownership:

Take the reins from initial requirement gathering through design, development, implementation, and ongoing maintenance of robust data ingestion processes.

Strategic Stakeholder Partnership:

Serve as the vital bridge connecting business stakeholders with engineering teams, translating complex requirements into clear, actionable technical designs and specifications.

Technical Innovation & Excellence:

Design, build, and maintain high-performance, scalable, and efficient data pipelines that meet rigorous technical standards and drive business value.

Agile Delivery & Autonomy:

Drive project deliverables independently within an Agile framework, actively participating in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and championing continuous process improvements.

Operational Integrity & Governance:

Ensure all data processes adhere to strict security and governance standards, meticulously managing tasks and change requests through formal protocols (e.g., Jira by Atlassian).
 

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics & Communication, or a related technical field.
• 4+ years of hands-on experience in data ingestion and data warehousing.
• Proven expertise in Snowflake SQL, including deep practical experience with Data Loading/Unloading, Change Data Capture (CDC), Snowflake Scripting, and SnowSQL.
• Demonstrated experience with Control-M for designing and automating complex job scheduling and workflow orchestration.
• A strong, foundational understanding of end-to-end data ingestion processes, encompassing data flow, transformation, and validation.
• Proficiency in using Jira by Atlassian for task tracking and a solid grasp of formal change management procedures.
   

Preferred Qualifications:

• Exceptional analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to collaborate effectively across diverse teams and engage with senior leadership.
• Experience working with a variety of database technologies, such as Oracle, Service Access Point HANA, MongoDB, and SQL Server.
• Proficiency in Python or other scripting languages for automation, data manipulation, and orchestration.
• Experience interacting with and leveraging APIs for seamless data integration.
