What You Will Do:

The Data Quality Specialist is responsible for governing data quality practices across key business processes and ensuring accountability for data quality across data providers and data consumers. This role does not perform operational data corrections but instead ensures the proper standards, monitoring controls, and governance mechanisms are in place to maintain trusted data.

Responsibilities include:

  • Monitor data quality dashboards and controls to track completeness, accuracy, and timeliness of operational and product data.
  • Ensure data quality expectations are applied consistently across key business processes, including data ingestion, master data management, engine documentation management, and operational reporting.
  • Investigate data quality anomalies and discrepancies, identifying root causes and coordinating corrective actions with Data Stewards and operational stakeholders.
  • Track and report data quality KPIs, SLA compliance, and recurring issues, highlighting trends and risks to stakeholders.
  • Support the implementation of data quality rules, validations, and monitoring controls in collaboration with Data Analysts and system owners.
  • Maintain documentation related to data dictionaries, quality standards, controls, and governance practices.
  • Identify systemic issues within business processes and recommend preventive controls, governance improvements, or process enhancements.

  • Reduction of recurring data issues through improved process clarity and governance.
  • Improved consistency in data definitions and interpretation across teams.
  • Contribution to the development of trusted data products and operational reporting.
     

Qualifications You Must Have:

  • B.Sc in Aircraft Maintenance Engineering or B.Sc in Computer Science or B.B.A in Aviation Management or B.B.A in Business Analytics, or related field.
  • A University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 2-5 years prior relevant experience
  • Experience documenting business processes, operational workflows, or data governance procedures.
  • Experience translating business requirements into data rules, data models, or reporting requirements.
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams including operations, data teams, and system owners.
  • Experience investigating operational or data-related issues and identifying root causes.
     

Qualifications We Prefer:

  • Experience working with data governance or data stewardship frameworks.
  • Experience using data quality monitoring tools or dashboards (Power BI, Tableau, or similar).
  • Experience working with enterprise data environments or operational systems such as SAP.
  • Experience supporting data quality improvement initiatives or governance programs.
  • Experience working with operational or engineering data in complex enterprise environments.
     

Shifts/Work Hours:

Shift Timings: Rotational shift (7AM to 4PM IST and 12.30PM to 9.30PM IST)
This role requires flexibility to accommodate stakeholder interactions and support business needs.

Onsite: Hybrid
