A role on the Enterprise Insights team means you will be a champion for our current and future guests, inspiring the organization to act in their best interest. You will help partners build consumer-centric strategies and activations.
As a Senior Insights Analyst, Experience & Loyalty Insights, you will report to the Director, Experience & Loyalty Insights and have responsibility for conducting consumer research and analyzing data to uncover actionable insights about the experiences our guests have as they shop Target. You will be focused on connecting dots across guests’ behaviors and perceptions of Target’s in-store experience to business performance -- all with a goal of driving increased engagement and relevance with guests.
You will partner with internal team members and external partners to execute work. Most importantly, you will learn the fundamentals of Insights and retail.

About you:
Four-year degree or equivalent experience
4-5+ years of work experience in Marketing Research, Consumer/Shopper Insights, and/or Experience Insights
Knowledge of qualitative and quantitative research methods, and familiar with syndicated and first-party insight tools
Experiences with conducting DIY research, and familiarity with DIY research providers (e.g., Fuel Cycle, Qualtrics)
Experience working with internal and external consumer data sources, including first-party behavioral data, syndicated tools, survey data, qualitative research, and marketplace or competitive signals
Ability to connect disparate data sources to identify behavioral patterns, explain the “why” behind consumer choices, and develop hypotheses for future learning
Ability to synthesize consumer data and communicate findings in a compelling way to leaders and cross-functional team members
Capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously, balancing speed, rigor, and business relevance
Ability to manage external vendors and research partners, including aligning on objectives, reviewing deliverables, and ensuring high-quality insights
This position will operate as a Hybrid/Flex for Your Day work arrangement based on Target’s needs. A Hybrid/Flex for Your Day work arrangement means the team member’s core role will need to be performed both onsite at the Target HQ MN location the role is assigned to and virtually, depending upon what your role, team and tasks require for that day.
