SUMMARY:
As a subject matter expert, crafts complex scalable business solutions that retrieve and aggregate data from multiple sources to present in a digestible and actionable format for various Nintendo business groups. Channels may vary such as web, retail, etc. Delivers recommendations for improvement to all analytic lines of thinking and technical solutions.
DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES
- Responsible for the end-to-end process and analysis of channel analytics for Nintendo’s marketing. Owner and domain expert of channel analytics and provides insights used to develop digital experiences to attract, engage, and convert customers.
- Responsible for analytics tracking including design. Ensure data integrity and accuracy including document and maintain tagging library, data dictionary, and ensure solutions are aligned with business objectives.
- Researches, designs and implements reporting infrastructure that leads to automated and flexible reporting.
- Design and build dashboards, recurring reports and ad hoc analysis to track key performance indicators and communicate trends effectively.
- Analyzes and synthesizes multiple data sources to provide actionable insight on customer behavior data and identify opportunities to improve experience.
- Provides statistical data analysis to support optimization in developing relevant personalization and experimentation of feature displays on Nintendo websites.
- Leverage advance analytical techniques such as predictive modeling to drive performance.
- Monitor industry trends, programs and tools that develops the web analytics practice in Marketing.
SUMMARY OF REQUIREMENTS
- Minimum of seven (7) years of experience with business analysis. Must have excellent analytical skills and ability to read autonomously and efficiently, sanity check and analyze data and deliver actionable recommendations.
- Minimum of five (5) years of experience with analytics tools such as Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics, Quantum Metric.
- Minimum of five (5) years of experience with advanced functionalities of Excel.
- Must be proficient with analytic functions such as pivot tables, formulas and statistical inference. Macros a plus.
- Experience in working with Data visualization tools such as Tableau, building interactive reports, complex dashboards for different audiences, creating calculated KPIs or metrics by writing complex formulas.
- Demonstrated strength in BigQuery, Python, R and understanding of data warehousing solutions to facilitate analytics capabilities.
- Must be able to quickly learn new analytical tools and database infrastructure.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills to articulate and present findings to others and translate analytical findings into easily understandable, actionable insights.
- Bachelor’s degree in mathematics, computer science, statistics or other quantitative field preferred. Other degrees are okay if the candidate has strong analytical and quantitative skills and relevant work experience. Advanced degree a plus.

This position is hybrid in Redmond, WA. Hybrid positions require regular onsite work following the schedule and guidelines for their division. This position is not open to fully remote status at this time.
This position includes the base pay range listed below, potential for a semi-annual discretionary performance bonus, and a comprehensive benefits package that includes medical, dental, vision, 401(k), and paid time off.
