Role Summary

Own marketing performance analytics for content, influencer, and affiliate channels—covering KPI definitions, reporting and dashboarding, forecasting support, and insight generation. Partner with data/engineering teams as needed to ensure data availability and quality, and translate analysis into clear actions for stakeholders.

Business Impact

This role improves campaign effectiveness and planning by delivering consistent measurement, reliable reporting, and actionable insights. Success is reflected in faster decision-making, clearer performance narratives, and optimization recommendations that improve content and influencer outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Define data requirements and monitor end-to-end data quality for content, influencer, and affiliate reporting; partner with data/engineering teams on ETL and pipeline improvements.
  • Consolidate data across platforms, categories, and business units to establish consistent definitions and a single source of truth.
  • Design and own KPI frameworks (metric definitions, taxonomy, and governance) to ensure consistent measurement and comparability over time.
  • Build and maintain dashboards, trackers, and recurring performance reports; automate refreshes where possible.
  • Deliver campaign and always-on performance analysis, translating results into clear insights and optimization recommendations.
  • Develop benchmarks and targets to support planning, forecasting, and goal setting.
  • Support forecasting and performance planning, including building calculators and analytical tools for stakeholders.
  • Own social listening analysis (trend monitoring, sentiment analysis, and driver identification) and turn findings into content/influencer opportunities.
  • Serve as the SME for social listening and measurement tools, defining best practices and raising analytical depth across teams.
  • Partner with cross-functional stakeholders (strategy, campaign management, group heads/leads) to translate business questions into data solutions.
  • Drive data adoption and capability building by enabling and mentoring stakeholders on dashboards, tools, KPI interpretation, and forecasting methodologies.
  • Improve process efficiency through automation using tools such as Power Automate, Power Query, and Python (where applicable).
  • Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and documentation; continuously identify and implement process improvements.
  • Stay current on industry trends and platform updates, proactively recommending measurement or strategy enhancements.

Requirements (Must-have)

  • 4–6+ years in data analytics, marketing analytics, or digital performance analytics.
  • Advanced Excel skills (complex formulas, pivoting, data modeling, and automation-oriented workflows).
  • Proven experience managing data pipelines and working with large datasets end-to-end.
  • Strong SQL skills; experience with BigQuery and/or Google Cloud Platform (GCP) is a plus.
  • Hands-on analytics experience in content, influencer, or affiliate marketing, including KPI design and performance measurement.
  • Working knowledge of analytics/statistics concepts (e.g., forecasting fundamentals, experiment/measurement thinking).
  • Experience with automation tools (e.g., Power Automate, Power Query, or similar).
  • Strong problem-solving skills with structured analytical thinking.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills; able to translate analysis into clear business recommendations.
  • High ownership, attention to detail, and comfort operating in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred (Nice-to-have)

  • Proficiency in Python for data processing, analysis, or automation.
  • Experience with Power BI (or similar BI tools) including semantic models and self-serve reporting.
  • Experience with social listening tools and methodologies (query building, taxonomy, sentiment/trend analysis).
  • Experience building reusable data tools (calculators, templates, frameworks) for non-technical stakeholders.
