About the role: 

We are seeking an analytical and innovative Senior Machine Learning Analyst to join our Data & AI team. You will play a key role in developing and deploying advanced machine learning models to solve real-world business challenges. Your efforts will help optimize data pipelines, extract actionable insights, and shape the future of intelligent solutions at AvePoint. 

Key responsibilities:  

  • Solution Design: Design, build, and deploy machine learning models leveraging structured and unstructured data that align with the overall SaaS product strategy. Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into AI-based functionalities. Drive holistic end-to-end AI architecture from data pipeline to LLM to platform components to application integration. 
  • System Integration: Architect the integration of AI components into the existing SaaS infrastructure, ensuring scalability, reliability, and optimal performance. Collaborate with development teams to implement these integrations effectively. 
  • Data Management: Design data pipelines and storage solutions for handling large volumes of data required for AI models. Ensure data security, privacy, and compliance with relevant regulations. 
  • Scalability and Performance Optimization: Architect solutions that can scale horizontally to handle growing user bases. Create and optimize AI algorithms and workflows for speed, efficiency, and resource utilization. 
  • Security and Compliance: Implement security measures to safeguard AI models and data. Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards and regulations. Develop guidance for the use of AI in product and internal tooling. 
  • Execution & Adoption Ownership: Proactively identify and remove barriers to execution across data, engineering, and product workflows to ensure timely delivery of AI solutions. Serve as a steward of adoption by partnering with product, engineering, and go-to-market teams to ensure solutions are usable, measurable, and successfully adopted by end users and customers. 

 

The ideal candidate has: 

  • 5+ years of experience working as an engineer or architect with a focus on one or more of the following: machine learning, data science or natural language processing  
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field. 
  • Preferably worked on enriching SaaS products with AI/ML functionalities 
  • Strong proficiency in AI technologies, machine learning, and deep learning frameworks. 
  • Previous experience determining measurable, revenue generating or business solving outcomes and showing how AI can drive these.  
  • Strategic thinking skills including the ability to lead and resolve company-wide technical discussions.  Excellence at creating clarity and alignment for technical initiatives, in close partnership with our product management team. 
  • Great ability to build trust through collaboration with multiple teams, articulate a vision, build consensus, and get hands-on to drive implementation.

The Salary Range for this role is $190,000 - $220,000. At AvePoint, we strive to offer competitive, fair, and equitable total rewards. The listed salary range represents a good faith estimate, with final offers based on location, experience, skills, and qualifications. The listed range reflects base salary only; our total rewards include base salary, comprehensive benefits (medical, dental, vision, 401(k) with match, unlimited PTO), and depending on the role, bonuses, commissions, or equity (RSUs). We welcome compensation discussions—apply even if your expectations fall outside the range.
