Solutions Architect (Generative AI)

Design enterprise architecture for workplace GenAI solutions, ensuring you align ChatGPT Enterprise capabilities to validated use cases. You will balance functionality, cost, and measurable productivity outcomes while ensuring secure, governed adoption at scale.

You will translate governance requirements into practical standards for onboarding and managing GenAI tools, including custom GPTs. You will focus on building controlled, scalable frameworks that support risk management, lifecycle governance, and audit readiness. You will report to Head of Department

 

Main Responsibilities

  • Evaluate GenAI use cases and align them with existing and planned tools; maintain a roadmap for workplace productivity solutions.
  • Map ChatGPT Enterprise capabilities (e.g., custom GPTs, sharing controls, compliance features) to needs.
  • Define architecture and onboarding standards for GenAI tools, from assessment through approval to production rollout.
  • Establish identity and access requirements, including SSO, SCIM provisioning, and role-based access control (RBAC).
  • Assess cost versus productivity value and recommend solutions to reduce duplication and tool sprawl.
  • Partner with Risk, Legal, and Compliance to define governance requirements, approvals, and acceptable use policies.
  • Communicate GenAI strategy and recommendations to senior team members and support governance processes.
  • Design and implement security controls to meet internal standards and audit requirements.
  • Develop reference architectures for higher-risk use cases, including data handling, audit readiness, and change management.
  • Define governance standards for custom GPTs, including lifecycle management, sharing controls, and integration restrictions.
  • Collaborate with vendors and other teams to assess roadmap changes and their impact on enterprise architecture.
  • Align architecture decisions with ChatGPT Enterprise features, integrations, and support capabilities.
  • 7–12+ years of experience in solutions or enterprise architecture, including ownership of product onboarding and technical governance in regulated environments.
  • Experience working with ChatGPT Enterprise and integrating GenAI tools into collaboration and productivity workflows.
  • Design architecture artifacts, such as capability maps, reference patterns, and production readiness criteria.
  • Working knowledge of enterprise identity and access management (e.g., SSO, provisioning) and cloud or container technologies.
  • 5+ years of experience collaborating with Security, Risk, Legal, and Compliance teams to translate policy into technical requirements.
  • Experience designing and managing governed GPT solutions, including use of GPT Builder, access controls, and version management.
  • Familiarity with integrating compliance and audit data into enterprise governance platforms (e.g., through APIs).
