We are seeking a highly experienced, visionary designer to shape the evolution of conversational AI from a passive responder into a proactive partner. As a member of the Gemini App Model UX team, you will collaborate with product managers, engineers, and research scientists to build E2E product experiences to improve people’s engagement with Gemini across use cases. Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Cognitive Science, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), Linguistics, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 8 years of experience in conversation design, content design, or designing for conversational AI or large language models (LLMs).
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience in vibe-coding and developing AI-powered prototypes.
- Experience in interaction design.
- Demonstrated experience growing in a startup environment, comfortable with the ambiguity, rapid iteration, and resourcefulness to deliver designs in a changing, evolving landscape.
- Demonstrated expertise in guiding cross-functional teams through ideation, validation, and iteration processes, transforming abstract ideas into shippable product.
- Familiarity with behavioral data and strong capability to create data-driven designs, while being equally capable of moving forward in the absence of data.
