UI/UX Design Intern

About the Role

We are looking for a UI/UX Design Intern to support the design of an AI-powered formulation agent. This role is ideal for someone who is interested in AI products & user experience design.

You will work closely with product team to help make complex workflows easier to understand, more intuitive to use, and visually clear for users.

Job Responsibilities

  • Support the research, organization, and design of user interfaces for an AI formulation agent.
  • Help translate complex workflows into clear user journeys, wireframes, and interface layouts.
  • Assist in understanding user scenarios, business logic, and user needs.
  • Create low- to high-fidelity prototypes using tools such as Figma to communicate design ideas.
  • Support the design of information architecture, navigation, dashboards, agent interaction flows, and result presentation interfaces.
  • Assist in designing visual assets such as icons, UI components, diagrams, and simple product visuals when needed.
  • Participate in product brainstorming and provide suggestions to improve usability, clarity, and overall user experience.
  • Help review and organize design components, interface patterns, and reusable UI elements.
  • Support user feedback collection, usability testing, and design iteration where applicable.
  • Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor’s degree in UI/UX Design, Product Design, Interaction Design, Visual Communication, or a related field.
  • Basic understanding of UI/UX design processes, including user research, wireframing, prototyping, and usability testing.
  • Able to communicate design ideas clearly through wireframes, user flows, prototypes, diagrams, or visual mockups.
  • Familiar with Figma; knowledge of Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, or other illustration software if applicable.
  • Strong interest in AI products, SaaS platforms, enterprise software.
  • Good sense of layout, visual hierarchy, usability, and interaction design.
  • Able to work independently on assigned tasks while being open to feedback and iteration.
  • A portfolio, school project, internship project, or personal design case study is preferred.
  • Candidates who can commit to an internship of at least 3 months are preferred.
