Long-Form Video Editor
What You’ll Do:
Podcast Editing
Edit full-length podcast episodes (30–60 min) featuring founders, operators, and entrepreneurs
One 60–90 second intro clip to open the episode: a punchy, engaging cut of the best moments designed to hook the listener before the full conversation begins
Cut filler, fix audio inconsistencies, and ensure smooth pacing throughout
Add intro/outro sequences, lower-thirds, chapter markers, and sponsor segments where needed
Deliver a YouTube-ready master file and a short teaser clip for promotion
Educational Video Editing
Edit educational content targeted at SMB founders in manufacturing, logistics, and distribution
Incorporate B-roll, screen recordings, text overlays, and motion graphics to support the narrative
Structure videos with strong hooks (first 30 seconds), clear chapter breakdowns, and a CTA end card
Ensure formatting aligns with YouTube best practices: aspect ratio, thumbnail-safe framing, captions
Collaboration & Delivery
Work from a structured brief: raw footage + talking points + reference examples
Communicate proactively on timeline or quality issues before they become problems
Must Have:
2+ years of YouTube/long-form video editing experience
Strong command of Adobe Premiere Pro or DaVinci Resolve
Experience editing interview-style or talking-head content (podcasts, vlogs, documentary)
Understanding of YouTube retention mechanics: hooks, pacing, chapter structure
Ability to deliver clean, professional output with minimal back-and-forth
Strong audio editing skills: noise reduction, levelling, music layering
Nice to Have:
Experience editing B2B, business, or entrepreneurship content
Motion graphics capability (After Effects or Premiere's built-in tools)
Familiarity with YouTube SEO: title cards, end screens, chapter timestamps
Ability to clip short-form highlights from long-form content as a bonus workflow
