Summary:
As a Custom Software Engineer, a typical day involves designing, building, and configuring applications tailored to fulfill specific business processes and application needs. This role requires engaging with various project components to ensure that software solutions align with organizational goals. The workday often includes collaborating with different teams to integrate application features and optimize performance, ensuring that the developed software effectively supports business operations and user requirements.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to perform independently and become an SME.
- Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.
- Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze application requirements.
- Continuously evaluate and improve existing software applications to enhance efficiency and user experience.
- Document design specifications and application configurations to maintain clear communication within the team.
- Support junior team members by sharing knowledge and assisting with technical challenges.

Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Apache Spark.
- Good To Have Skills: Experience with Python (Programming Language), Apache Hadoop, PySpark.
- Strong understanding of distributed computing frameworks and big data processing.
- Experience in optimizing application performance and resource management within large-scale data environments.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex software issues in a timely manner.
- Familiarity with data integration and transformation techniques to support application workflows.

Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 3 years of experience in Apache Spark.
- This position is based at our Chennai office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
