In the role of Packaged or Software as a Service Application Engineering Lead, a typical day involves taking full ownership of the design and continuous improvement of packaged or cloud-based solutions. This includes managing the configuration, overseeing system integrations, and coordinating release activities. The role requires setting and maintaining platform standards to guarantee system stability and optimal performance while ensuring alignment with both business requirements and vendor limitations. The position demands proactive engagement with evolving technologies and collaboration across various teams to drive solution excellence and operational efficiency.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Lead the development and implementation of best practices to enhance platform reliability and scalability.
- Facilitate knowledge sharing and mentorship within the team to foster professional growth and technical expertise.
- Coordinate cross-functional efforts to ensure seamless integration and deployment of solutions.
- Monitor and evaluate system performance to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in ServiceNow Human Resource Service Delivery (HRSD).
- Good To Have Skills: Experience with ServiceNow IT Service Management.
- Strong understanding of platform configuration and customization within ServiceNow environments.
- Experience managing integrations between ServiceNow and other enterprise systems.
- Ability to oversee release management processes ensuring minimal disruption and high-quality deployments.
- Skilled in setting and enforcing platform standards to maintain system stability and performance.
