Summary
As an Application Developer specializing in SAP Plant Maintenance (PM), you will be responsible for designing, building, and configuring SAP solutions to support maintenance and asset management processes during ECC to S/4HANA migration. You will play a key role in improving operational efficiency by enabling effective maintenance planning, execution, and monitoring.
Roles & Responsibilities
Work independently and develop expertise as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in SAP PM
Participate in fit-gap analysis and solution design for S/4HANA migration
Collaborate with stakeholders to translate maintenance and asset management requirements into SAP solutions
Configure and implement maintenance planning and execution processes
Support data migration activities, including validation and reconciliation
Manage plant maintenance processes including:
Maintenance notifications and work orders
Preventive and corrective maintenance planning
Equipment and functional location management
Support maintenance planning activities such as scheduling inspections and preventive tasks SAP PM - M...e Planning or Word
Ensure integration with modules such as MM, PP, and QM
Work with technical teams on enhancements, RICEF objects, and issue resolution
Perform testing, troubleshooting, and defect resolution
Ensure compliance with SAP best practices and clean core principles
Professional & Technical Skills
Must-Have Skills
Strong proficiency in SAP PM (Plant Maintenance)
Strong understanding of:
Maintenance planning and execution
Preventive and breakdown maintenance processes
Hands-on experience in:
Work orders and notifications
Maintenance plans and scheduling
Equipment and asset management
Experience in S/4HANA migration (Brownfield/Greenfield) or rollout projects
Knowledge of integration with:
SAP MM (Materials Management)
SAP PP (Production Planning)
SAP QM (Quality Management)
Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
Good-to-Have Skills
Knowledge of ABAP/debugging
Exposure to SAP Fiori applications
Experience in asset management or reliability engineering tools
Exposure to manufacturing or asset-intensive industries
Additional Information
Experience in SAP S/4HANA PM environments is preferred
SAP certification in Plant Maintenance / S/4HANA Asset Management is an added advantage
Experience in enterprise asset management or maintenance operations will be beneficial
