We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated ServiceNow Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in ServiceNow platform development, integrations, and platform enhancements & Upgrades. The candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, configuring, and maintaining ServiceNow solutions while ensuring adherence to platform best practices and governance standards.
## Key Responsibilities
* Design, develop, configure, and customize applications on the ServiceNow platform.
* Develop and maintain scoped applications, custom modules, workflows, and catalog items.
* Configure and support ServiceNow integrations using REST/SOAP APIs, OAuth, and Basic Authentication.
* Manage and maintain MID Servers, including troubleshooting and performance optimization.
* Perform update set management, migration, and promotion activities across environments.
* Support ServiceNow platform upgrades and ensure compatibility of customizations and integrations.
* Create, maintain, and optimize scheduled jobs, data imports, transform maps, and data synchronization processes.
* Implement and support Single Sign-On (SSO) using SAML and other authentication mechanisms.
* Design and manage custom tables, forms, business rules, client scripts, UI policies, and related platform components.
* Develop and enhance Service Catalog items, record producers, and workflow solutions using Workflow Editor and Flow Designer.
* Collaborate with business stakeholders, architects, and cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver scalable solutions.
* Ensure adherence to ServiceNow development best practices, including configuration over customization wherever possible.
* Support CMDB governance, CSDM alignment, and asset management initiatives.
## Required Qualifications
* Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in ServiceNow development .
* Strong experience working with the ServiceNow platform and its core modules.
* Certified ServiceNow System Administrator (CSA).
* Certified ServiceNow Application Developer (CAD).
* Experience in:
* MID Server installation, configuration, and maintenance
* Scoped Application development
* Update Set management and deployment
* API integrations (REST/SOAP, OAuth, Basic Authentication)
* ServiceNow platform upgrades and release management
* Scheduled Jobs, Import Sets, and Data Imports
* Single Sign-On (SSO) using SAML
* Custom Tables and application development
* Service Catalog creation and maintenance
* Workflow Editor and Flow Designer
## Technical Knowledge
Must have skills
* ServiceNow development best practices, including Configuration vs. Customization
* Configuration Management Database (CMDB)
* Common Service Data Model (CSDM)
Good to have:
* Experience with JavaScript, Glide APIs, Business Rules, Client Scripts, UI Policies, Script Includes, and Flow Designer is preferred.

* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
* Ability to work independently and in a collaborative team environment.
* Experience working in Agile delivery models is an added advantage.
