Summary:
As a Packaged/SaaS Application Engineer, a typical day involves configuring and supporting packaged or software as a service applications to tailor features according to evolving business requirements. The role includes managing application releases and ensuring the overall stability of the systems. The engineer works with various standard tools, application programming interfaces, and low-code platforms to deliver solutions that align with organizational goals while maintaining compatibility and optimal performance. Collaboration with different teams to monitor and enhance application functionality is also a key part of daily activities.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to perform independently and become an SME.
- Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.
- Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and implement application enhancements.
- Monitor application performance and troubleshoot issues to maintain system reliability.
- Document configuration changes and maintain knowledge repositories for future reference.
- Assist junior team members by sharing knowledge and providing guidance on best practices.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Functional Testing.
- Experience in designing and executing automated test scripts to validate application functionality.
- Familiarity with integration of testing tools with continuous integration and deployment pipelines.
- Ability to analyze test results and identify defects or areas for improvement.
- Knowledge of software development lifecycle and quality assurance processes.
- Strong problem-solving skills to address technical challenges during testing and deployment.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 3 years of experience in Microsoft Functional Testing.
- This position is based at our Hyderabad office.
