Summary:
We are seeking a Uhlmann Track & Trace Specialist with hands-on experience in pharmaceutical packaging line serialization to support implementation, integration, and maintenance of Track & Trace solutions. The role focuses on ensuring compliant serialization and aggregation processes across packaging operations.
Roles & Responsibilities:
Configure and support Uhlmann Track & Trace systems (Level 2/Line Level)
Manage serialization and aggregation activities on packaging lines (carton, bundle, case, pallet)
Integrate Uhlmann systems with:
o Level 3 systems (e.g., PAS-X Track & Trace, SAP ATTP, TraceLink)
o Packaging equipment and vision systems
Support line commissioning, FAT/SAT, and site rollouts
Monitor and troubleshoot real-time serialization issues on shop floor
Ensure compliance with DSCSA, EU FMD, and other regulatory requirements
Support CSV validation (IQ/OQ/PQ) and maintain documentation
Collaborate with vendors, automation teams, MES/IT, and quality teams
Handle rework, exception management, and reconciliation processes
Professional & Technical Skills:
5-10 years of experience in Track & Trace / Serialization in pharma packaging
Strong hands-on experience with:
o Uhlmann Track & Trace systems (Level 2)
o Packaging line integration and serialization workflows
Solid understanding of:
o Serialization lifecycle and aggregation hierarchy
o Line equipment (printers, cameras, scanners, labeling systems)
Experience integrating with Level 3 systems (PAS-X, SAP ATTP, etc.)
Knowledge of GMP, GxP, and validation processes
Strong troubleshooting and shop-floor support experience
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in multi-line or multi-site deployments
Exposure to automation systems (PLC, SCADA)
Familiarity with middleware and interface protocols (OPC, APIs, etc.)
Understanding of pharma packaging operations and supply chain
Strong communication and coordination skills
Ability to work closely with shop-floor teams and vendors
Quick problem-solving in production-critical environments
Ability to work in shifts or on-site support (if required)
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in Manufacturing Engineering MES.
- Bachelor s degree in Engineering, Automation, IT, or related field
- This position is based at our Pune office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
