Summary: As a Custom Software Engineer, a typical day involves designing and developing tailored software solutions that meet unique business requirements. The role includes collaborating with various stakeholders to understand needs, coding and enhancing system components, and ensuring the delivery of efficient and scalable applications. The work environment encourages the use of modern development methodologies and continuous improvement to support evolving business objectives. Roles & Responsibilities: - Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform. - Responsible for team decisions. - Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions. - Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams. - Facilitate effective communication within the team to ensure alignment on project goals. - Mentor team members to foster professional growth and skill development. - Coordinate with cross-functional teams to integrate software components seamlessly. Professional & Technical Skills: - Required Skill: Expert proficiency in Business Requirements Analysis. - Additional Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Java Enterprise Edition, Application Modernization. - Strong capability in gathering, analyzing, and documenting business requirements to guide software development. - Experience in translating complex business needs into clear technical specifications. - Familiarity with software development lifecycle and agile methodologies to support iterative delivery. - Ability to assess and improve existing applications to enhance performance and maintainability. Additional Information: - The candidate should have minimum 3 years of experience in Business Requirements Analysis. - This position is based at our Manila office.
