Apps/Sys Engineer 4 - Pre&Post Sales
The Opportunity
The way brands are discovered online is changing as search engines, AI assistants, and large language models increasingly build how users find information and interact with content. Adobe’s Domain Experts team operates where SEO, GEO/ASO and artificial intelligence meet, translating real-world optimization insights into product capabilities that power Adobe AEM Sites Optimizer and Adobe LLM Optimizer.
This role focuses on understanding how organizations build digital authority beyond their own websites. Signals such as backlinks, brand mentions, digital PR coverage, community discussions, and SaaS review ecosystems influence how brands appear in search engines and AI-generated responses.
Responsibilities
A core part of the role involves evaluating customer visibility across search engines and LLMs using multiple sources. It also involves crafting agentic processes to optimize this through the Adobe LLM Optimizer tool and Adobe AEM Sites Optimizer.
Off-page SEO and authority building
The role acts as an internal authority on off-page SEO, outreach marketing, and digital public relations.
Media outlets and online PR channels
Community platforms including Reddit, YouTube, and forums
Knowledge ecosystems such as Wikipedia
Review platforms such as G2, Capterra, and TrustRadius
Understanding how these ecosystems influence brand credibility helps Adobe develop AI systems that interpret external authority signals more effectively.
On-SEO and AI discoverability
A complete view across organic visibility is required for this role as you will also assist with all aspects of SEO and GEO such as:
Site architecture and crawl-ability
Semantic HTML and structured data
Content clarity and readability
Indexation and performance optimization
Content structures designed for AI interpretation
Working directly with customers
Enterprise organizations rely on our domain experts and tools to strengthen their presence across search and AI ecosystems. In this role, concepts you create are used to guide recommendations and improve our products. You will be responsible for presenting concepts and getting customer on-board for the agentic solutions you want to build.
What you need to succeed
Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Marketing, or equivalent professional experience.
Strong understanding of technical SEO including site architecture, crawl ability, semantic HTML
Experience with off-page SEO strategies such as link development and digital PR
Familiarity with community platforms including Reddit, Wikipedia, YouTube, and online forums
Understanding of Generative Engine Optimization (GEO) and content discovery using intelligent systems
Knowledge of web technologies including HTML, CSS and Javascript
Familiarity with CDN architecture, page speed optimization, and Core Web Vitals
AI Development skills
This role requires practical experience working with AI-assisted development workflows.
Key capabilities include:
Building workflows or prototypes with AI agents
Developing solutions with AI coding tools such as Claude
Using AI systems to generate code, automate workflows, and accelerate experimentation
Strong analytical thinking, communication skills, and the ability to collaborate across product, engineering, and customer teams are essential.
