• RAF Shawbury (Shropshire): Supporting the MFTS fleet.

• RAF Valley (Anglesey): Supporting the MFTS fleet.​

The Role

The role is full-time (40 hours/week) and reports to the MFTS Base Maintenance Manager.  

B2 Licensed Engineer (Avionics)

• Responsibilities: Accomplish maintenance inspections and rectifications on electrical and avionics systems.

• Expertise: Use specialized test equipment to ensure the continued safe operation of the aircraft.

• Requirements: A CAA Part 66 B2 License is preferred.​

Application Requirements

• Right to Work: All applicants must demonstrate the right to work in the UK.

• Security: Applicants must be eligible for SC Clearance. To meet the criteria for this clearance, you must typically have resided in the UK for the last 5 years. A DBS check is also required. 

• Compliance: Must meet all ITAR and Export Compliance regulations.

• Professionalism: Excellent communication skills and a highly presentable manner at all levels.
