Senior Specialist Member of Technical Staff

JOB TITLE: Sr. Specialist Member of Technical Staff

JOB LOCATION: 3400 W Plano Pkwy. Plano, TX 75075

           

DUTIES: Drive Research and Development initiatives, integrate emerging technologies, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to align technical solutions with business needs. Provide strategic direction and leadership to develop and implement innovative, scalable, and robust systems aligning with organizational goals. Serve as subject matter expert during the continuous integration/continuous deployment cycle in a production environment focused on complex design, engineering and development. Lead complex projects from inception to implementation and foster a collaborative team environment. Effectively communicate project progress and technical concepts to stakeholders. Conduct quantitative, algorithmic and theory-based analysis for addressing business issues in information extraction and synthesis, data mining, data visualization, network design and optimization, market and financial analysis, operations research, and decision support systems. Utilize development experience in Python, Java, JavaScript, C/C++. Use Cloud technologies and platforms, (KVM, Containers, Docker, Azure). Utilize Network protocols and technologies: IPAM, DNS, DoH, DoT, DHCP, Radius, Routing (BGP, OSPF), snmp, SQL, at the protocol and implementation level. Apply frameworks such as ReactJS, bootstrap, node.js, Django. Utilize knowledge of Linux-based OSes (Ubuntu, Rocky Linux, Red Hat). Use big data platforms and analytics tooling (Databricks, PowerBI, Snowflake). Apply Data Science principles (data modeling, scrubbing, AI learning models, clustering). Use detailed system design and plan implementation through multiple iterations from concept to production. Write prototype code or scripts to analyze data or create prototypes and guide other developers.

REQUIREMENTS: Requires a Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent degree in Electronic Engineering, Computer Science, or Computer Engineering. Position requires experience, project experience, or course work: utilizing development experience in Python, Java, JavaScript, C/C++; using Cloud technologies and platforms, (KVM, Containers, Docker, Azure); utilizing Network protocols and technologies: IPAM, DNS, DoH, DoT, DHCP, Radius, Routing (BGP, OSPF), snmp, SQL, at the protocol and implementation level;  applying frameworks such as ReactJS, bootstrap, node.js, Django; utilizing knowledge of Linux-based OSes (Ubuntu, Rocky Linux, Red Hat); using big data platforms and analytics tooling (Databricks, PowerBI, Snowflake); applying Data Science principles (data modeling, scrubbing, AI learning models, clustering); using detailed system design and plan implementation through multiple iterations from concept to production; and writing prototype code or scripts to analyze data or create prototypes and guide other developers.

Our Sr. Specialist Member of Technical Staffs earn between $130,000 - $192,100 yearly. Not to mention all the other amazing rewards that working at AT&T offers.
