The CVS Health VP of Health100 Engineering and Digital Delivery Engineering for will be a highly-technical leader who is responsible for creating technical solutions, design and estimation of initiatives across the Health100 Product & Engineering organization.
This role provides managerial oversight to technology product architects and engineers as it relates to optimizing solutions to meet business demand, as well as the technical leadership to high-complexity/high-impact or novel engineering and delivery initiatives. This position uses expert level knowledge of technology platforms and disciplines and a detailed understanding of how they can be deployed within PCW T&D to justify and direct key technology decisions.
This role will make an impact by:
• Leading high-complexity/high-impact development initiatives. Developing the engineering solutions for Retail pharmacy T&D projects and initiatives
• Creating and communicating best practices and prescriptions on the ideal usage of technology components
• Providing technical leadership for the solution and design of key projects, promoting simplicity of solutions and reuse
• Validating the quality of technology deployed across the organization and is empowered to intervene and provide direction when technical standards fall short
• Ensuring Operational Readiness of solutions by conducting technical reviews to assure that implementations align with initial solution
• Driving down technology cost by promoting reuse and componentization
• Researching and implementing practices that contribute to a lean organization
• Contributing to budgetary and planning activities
• Shepherd technology estimates through the funding and approval process.
• Maintain communication of the project portfolio throughout engineering teams to promote inclusivity across disciplines and assure operational readiness.
• Creates and maintains a training plan to ensure consistency in Solution Engineering Adoption
• Builds a Engineering practice that prides itself on designing simple solutions and empowers teams that hold each other to a higher standard
• Maintain awareness of best practices and emerging technologies and their viability at PCW T&D.
Required Qualifications
15+ years technology leadership experience in large corporate organizations focus on pharmacy / healthcare experience with team size exceeding
5+ Experience in building large volume digital healthcare (Pharmacy preferred) applications and solutions in a premier consumer focused organization
Must have multiyear experience of technology product evaluation and experience in building multitenant technology experience to support large number of B2B partners
Demonstrates strong people management skills; with an ability to inspire, mentor, and develop a highly motivated team
Demonstrated exceptional critical thinking, strategic planning, and process management skills
Expert in technology research & development methods and tools, while demonstrating ability to sponsor and lead multi-disciplined effort
Expert in technology consulting and leading teams of technical resources
Working knowledge of developing metrics and key performance indicators used to accentuate the effectiveness of technology solutions.
Education
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience required

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above. This position also includes an award target in the company’s equity award program.
