Senior BPM Developer

The Role

As a Senior BPM Developer, you will serve as a hands-on technical leader responsible for automating, digitizing, and transforming operational processes across multiple business units. You will leverage strong software engineering and design skills to build scalable, efficient, and robust BPM solutions that deliver meaningful business value.

In this role, you will partner with stakeholders to translate business requirements into high-quality technical solutions while driving best practices in development, design, and implementation. You will play a key role in shaping innovative workflows that enhance both customer experience and internal operations.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Translating business requirements into scalable BPM solutions aligned with customer needs and security standards
  • Designing, developing, and maintaining robust, high-quality BPM implementations
  • Leading and contributing to technical design and analysis discussions
  • Driving engineering excellence and adherence to best development practices
  • Building strong relationships with team members and business stakeholders
  • Supporting process improvement and digital transformation initiatives.

The Skills and Expertise You Bring

Required Qualifications & Technical Expertise

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Strong proficiency in JavaScript, Java, and REST APIs
  • Experience with Camunda BPM or other BPM platforms
  • Experience working with AWS or other cloud providers
  • Understanding of business process improvement and re-engineering.

Preferred Skills

  • Familiarity with HTML and CSS
  • Experience in financial services within operations or technology.

You will be part of the Advanced Process Solutions (APS) team at Fidelity Investments—an agile group of 6–8 highly skilled professionals dedicated to transforming customer experiences and internal workflows.
