What impact you’ll make: As a member of the nuclear services team, you will be an active contributor to the technical project management and execution of Kuosheng boiling water reactor (BWR) restart initiatives, ensuring seamless coordination between the utility customer and our internal engineering teams.
Job Description
What you’ll do
- Establish and manage the technical interface between customers, project teams, and subcontractors for the Kuosheng BWR restart project.
- Develop work scopes and plan the execution of projects related to the restart of existing BWRs.
- Provide oversight and schedule maintenance for all activities related to restart in coordination with project managers, engineering, and sourcing teams.
- Strengthen connections between the utility customer, business project teams, and engineering teams supporting the installed base fleet.
- Coordinate with project/business interfaces and customer representatives on work planning and execution monitoring for selected project bundles.
- Identify technical risks and implement effective risk mitigation plans.
- Collaborate with engineering leaders and technical managers to ensure projects are executed in a timely manner.
What you’ll bring (Basic Qualifications)
- B.S. Degree in an Engineering Discipline (Nuclear, Mechanical, or similar).
- Proven relevant experience in a technology or engineering role.
- Demonstrated ability to perform independent work requiring judgment in the application of engineering techniques.
Eligibility Requirements
- This role requires access to U.S. export-controlled information. Final offers will be contingent on the ability to obtain authorization for access to U.S. export-controlled information from the U.S. Government.
- Ability to travel to the customer location (Kuosheng, Taiwan) up to 6 times per year and to headquarters as needed (total travel not to exceed 30% of the year).
- GE will only employ those who are legally authorized to work in Poland for this opening.

- Extensive knowledge of BWR systems and integrated plant response.
- Experience with an operating utility in operations, engineering, or maintenance.
- Strong commitment to promoting a robust nuclear safety culture, prioritizing quality and safety over delivery.
- Demonstrated collaborative mindset and ability to communicate with credibility and confidence both internally and externally.
- Experience with standard engineering work planning, scheduling, and design process techniques.
- Project Management certification.

The site was officially founded in 2007, as GE Gas Power focused engineering organization. Currently the site extends engineering activities for GE Hitachi Nuclear Energy in Poland.
