In YouTube Shopping Creator, we leverage advanced infrastructure to empower creators in producing high-quality, shopping-enabled content. A key business priority is expanding the creator and shopping content and driving active engagement with shopping features.

Our mission is to enable creators to launch and scale their Shopping journey through seamless activation, intelligent matchmaking, and data-driven inspiration.

As a team, we drive growth by owning the Activation and Inspiration Critical User Journey's. Beyond onboarding, we create and leverage Creator Profiles and AI/ML predictive modeling to provide actionable insights, helping creators discover the best merchants, lucrative offers, and relevant products for their audience.

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 2 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages, or 1 year of experience with an advanced degree.
  • 1 year of experience with one or more of the following: Speech/audio (e.g., technology duplicating and responding to the human voice), reinforcement learning (e.g., sequential decision making), ML infrastructure, or specialization in another ML field.
  • 1 year of experience with Machine Learning (ML) infrastructure (e.g., model deployment, model evaluation, optimization, data processing, debugging).

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience in B2C or e-commerce software.
  • Experience in debugging and resolving system issues, and addressing technical debt.
  • Experience building scalable test automation frameworks for complex, AI systems.
  • Experience in C++ and Python.
  • Deep understanding of ML/LLM systems.
  • Strong analytical skills to interpret quality metrics, identify regression patterns, and drive data-informed modeling decisions.
