Software Engineer III, BigQuery Trusted Agentic Platform

As a software engineer, you will work on a specific project critical to Google’s needs with opportunities to switch teams and projects as you and our fast-paced business grow and evolve. As a part of the BigQuery Trusted Platform team, your mission is to provide a reliable, easy-to-use operation and experimentation platform for the BigQuery organization, ensuring that the platform is compliant and secure by default. You will empower BigQuery developers to build and operate BigQuery with confidence, and help Google Cloud be the most secure and trusted cloud in the industry.

Your goal is to deliver the most reliable, secure, and compliant multi-tenant platform, empowering both customers and internal engineering teams. You will cultivate a culture of engineering excellence that prioritizes reliability, productivity and efficient operations and experimentations without sacrificing security or compliance postures.Google Cloud accelerates every organization’s ability to digitally transform its business and industry. US: $147000 - $211000 (USD) + 15% bonus target + equity + benefits

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 2 years of experience with software development or 1 year of experience with an advanced degree in an industry setting.
  • Experience building and developing large-scale infrastructure or distributed systems.
  • Experience with system design and reliability.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or related technical fields.
  • Experience in Cloud operations or Intelligent Agent.
  • Experience with change management.
