Within the Model Lifecycle Management Platform (MLMP), we are transforming how scientific models—especially within QP2 (Quantitative Pharmacology & Pharmacometrics)—are developed, governed, and scaled across R&D.
As a Software Engineer on the MLMP team, you will play a critical role in delivering GxP-compliant platforms that support PK/PD modeling, simulation workflows, and data science pipelines—helping scientists make faster, data-driven decisions that impact patients worldwide.
What You’ll Do
🚀 Enable Scientific Innovation
Build and enhance enterprise-scale applications that support QP2 modeling workflows (PK/PD, simulation, model lifecycle management)☁️ Engineer Modern Platforms
Develop solutions using Java/Python, integrated with AWS cloud services, Databricks, and Oracle databases, to power scalable and reproducible scientific computing🤝 Collaborate Across Science & Tech
Partner with QP2 scientists, modelers, and product managers to translate complex modeling requirements into robust, user-centric platform capabilities🔧 Hands-On Development
Spend ~90% of your time coding, debugging, and improving platform performance and usability⭐ Grow into Leadership
Take on ~10% leadership scope: Mentor engineersConduct code reviewsInfluence architecture decisionsDrive engineering best practices and continuous improvement🛡️ Build with Quality & Compliance
Ensure systems meet GxP regulatory standards, with strong focus on traceability, reproducibility, and reliability of scientific models
What You Bring
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
Strong hands-on experience with Java and/or Python backend development
Experience with AWS cloud infrastructure and distributed systems
Familiarity with relational databases (Oracle or equivalent)
Proven track record delivering enterprise-scale or mission-critical systems
Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
Passion for building high-quality, maintainable, and scalable software
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with GxP-regulated systems or life sciences platforms
Exposure to QP2 workflows, PK/PD modeling, or pharmacometrics
Familiarity with Databricks or large-scale data platforms
Understanding of model lifecycle management, reproducibility, and scientific pipelines
Experience collaborating with Product Managers and scientific stakeholders
Exposure to machine learning or advanced analytics workflows
